Living in a sleepy seaside town, Alys spends her free-time tinkering around in the retro-computing hobby. She enjoys studying these older platforms and learning exactly how they all tick. From the Commdore AMiGA to Microsoft Windows XP, there is always some project spinning through Alys' mind.

Alys suffers from various disabilites and health conditions which makes the daily tasks of life difficult to manage. This means she often can't get out of bed, she has found solace listening to the radio and having a small bird feeder outside her bedroom window.
